on november 5th, the sixth china international import expo (ciie) and the hongqiao international economic forum opened in shanghai. at the ciie, china energy signed contracts on-site with 44 companies from 20 countries and regions, including mongolia, switzerland, indonesia, the united states, and germany. the imported goods include high-quality coal, high-end equipment and spare parts, and advanced technical services, with a total value of $2.64 billion. this marks another record-breaking year for both the variety and amount of purchases. with this, china energy has participated in the exhibition for six consecutive years, and the cumulative total procurement amount has reached nearly $10 billion.
china energy operates with the characteristics of an integrated full-industry-chain operation in "coal, electricity, road, ports, shipping and chemical industry". it is committed to cultivating global leading core competitiveness in areas such as safe, green, and intelligent use of coal, clean and efficient stabilization of coal-fired power, innovative and scalable development of new energy, coordinated integration of transportation and logistics, and modern high-end, diversified, and low-carbon development in modern coal chemical industry. in recent years, china energy has persisted in promoting the green and reliable development of the industrial and supply chains. it ensures energy security with coal and stabilizes power with coal-fired electricity, continuously consolidating and enhancing its "integrated" advantages. china energy has strengthened the clean and efficient development and utilization of coal, guaranteeing approximately 18% of the country's stable coal supply and 14% of its electricity generation. the installed capacity of power generation has surpassed 300 million kilowatts, and the installed capacity of renewable energy has exceeded 100 million kilowatts. china energy continues to strengthen the research and development of key core technologies, focusing on building an original technology innovation hub and continuously enhancing the resilience and modernization level of the industrial and supply chains.
